| Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Planning Another Adoption |
Despite recent troubles, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly are strongly considering making New Orleans their permanent residence.
Not only that, Brangelina may be ready to adopt another child. According to US Weekly, the Hollywood star couple has filed papers with the U.S. citizenship and immigration services to adopt a boy from the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, which they visited in November.
All of this news comes just days after troubling reports surrounding the physical and mental health of Angelina Jolie.
The Gossip Girls reported that Jolie’s weight was supposedly down to 109 lbs. as a result of the actress’ unwillingness to eat. Angelina has been grieving her mother’s death for some time now, and has been flying friends to New Orleans in an attempt to help speed the healing process.
While it seems as if this is not the best of times to bring another child into the home, Brangelina will do what they do. |

| Nicole Kidman Opens Up To Russell Crowe |
In an interesting format, Nicole Kidman opened up in an interview conducted by fellow Aussie and actor, Russell Crowe.
This all took place on Oprah’s ABC special that pitted Oscar winner vs. Oscar winner in interviews designed to promote the Academy Awards ceremony, airing Sunday February 25th.
During the interview, in which Crowe eerily sounded like a reporting pro, Nicole spoke about having a child and her recently troubled husband, Keith Urban. The actress spoke openly about how the country music singer’s stint in rehab has affected their marriage. “Keith is doing very well,” Kidman told Crowe. “We’ve been through a lot.”
As Russell began to ask another question, Kidman cut in: “Let me finish that because that will be seen as a superficial answer and I don’t like to give those. We’ve dug really deep. Three months into our marriage we had to dig really deep and that’s what we are doing and we are in the process of doing that.”
According to the National Ledger, Crowe commended Keith for his fight. “That’s very courageous of him to just pack up his toothbrush and go…and leave you…I know he’s a very proud man and a creative soul…and for him to just go right and do this thing for the rest of his life...it’s pretty cool,” Crowe said to a teary eyed Nicole.
The interview then changed its course. Crowe asked Kidman whether or not she has been on tour with Keith, with Nicole revealing that she has been on the road with her man.
Russell then followed up by asking if she had baby plans in the future.
“You’re the worst interviewer,” Kidman joked. She then revealed, “I hope so,” but did not reveal if she was indeed pregnant. |

| Amanda Peet Welcomes Baby Daughter |
A little ahead of schedule, actress Amanda Peet has given birth to her first child.
The 35-year-old actress and husband David Benioff, 36, welcomed daughter Frances Pen earlier this week. The middle name is in honor of Peet’s mother, social worker Penny.
On February 21, Peet went into labor instead of keeping plans to attend a Hollywood luncheon, reported the Post.
The Post’s source said that Peet was rushed to a nearby hospital. Peet’s representative confirmed the birth of the baby, but wouldn’t give any other details.
Peet was engaged to Benioff, a screenwriter, in July 2005 and the two wed last September.
Meanwhile, Peet has been starring in the NBC dramedy “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” which has been on the edge of cancellation since it first began to air. |

| Mischa Barton & Kirsten Dunst Fender Benders |
Young Hollywood starlets are having more and more trouble keeping it together these days. Mischa Barton and Kirsten Dunst appear to be the latest entrants into the fray, joining the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
After seeing her sister head off to rehab, Mischa Barton hasn’t been in the best of spirits and it showed over the weekend.
Mischa had a little fender bender with Nicole Richie’s car on Sunday. After dropping Nicole off at a Los Angeles tanning salon, Mischa bumped Nicole’s car into another. According to AHN, “the 21-year-old former O.C. star was visibly annoyed as she pulled into a gas station to exchange insurance details with the couple in the other car. After both parties obtained the correct information, Mischa quickly refueled before speeding off.”
Only days later, pictures of Mischa smoking what appears to be a ‘fat joint’ while driving around LA have surfaced on Hollywood.com and TMZ. These pictures may have a little something to do with the prior accident, you think?
Anyways, Kirsten Dunst apparently is having a hard time keeping it together as well.
TMZ has been reporting on a series of happenings between the ‘Spiderman’ actress and the paparazzi.
On February 20th, while leaving Teddy’s nightclub, Dunst shielded her face with crisscrossed arms and joked, “I feel like a ninja right now!”
She then sprinted furiously towards a garage where her car was parked.
The following night, in yet another attempt to thwart the paparazzi, “Dunst tried to cover her face with a hat as she ran to her car after partying at Winston’s. While she probably should have come out of hiding when she got behind the wheel, Kirsten opted to keep her face hidden as she tried to steer into traffic. Unable to see the road, Dunst gassed it straight into the curb,” reports TMZ.
Most recently, Dunst was spotted on Thursday night at Chateau Marmont, where she supposedly told a TMZ cameraman, “Oh, look who’s being rude and filming us all, what an exciting life you have, what a great job,” before swatting the camera away.
Unfortunately for Kirsten, there’s a price that comes along with being able to go out to exclusive clubs every night of the week. |

| Ellen DeGeneres Set To Host Academy Awards |
It’s been announced that Ellen DeGeneres will be the host of the upcoming Academy Awards, making her the second female to host the event on her own, only behind Whoopi Goldberg.
Ellen, who is currently in a relationship with Portia de Rossi, seems to many to be a ‘safe’ choice by the Academy. She’s known to be easy going, a little dry and self-deprecating, which is a dramatic turn from the last two hosts – Jon Stewart and Chris Rock, both who are known for being risky and abrasive. DeGeneres certainly has the qualifications to host the event, having a talk show that has won 15 daytime Emmy’s since it began in 2003. With the talk show, she regularly gets the chance to talk to everyone from Cameron Diaz to Donald Trump.
Also to her credit, Ellen hosted the Emmy’s just after the September 11th attacks. She managed to handle it quite well, in light of the carnage that was taking place around it, opening with the line – “terrorists can’t take away our creativity, our striving for excellence, our joy. Only network executives can do that.”
Ellen has stated that she is thrilled to be hosting the event. In a statement she said, “When Academy Awards Producer Laura Ziskin called, I was thrilled. There’s two things I’ve always wanted to do in my life. One is to host the Oscars. The second is to get a call from Laura Ziskin. You can imagine that day’s diary entry.”
While the phone call from Ziskin probably was not on the list, we get the point. |

| Gwen Stefani Talks No Doubt, Britney Spears |
Gwen Stefani has just recently spoken out about two issues: No Doubt and Britney Spears.
Stefani’s band is getting back together in the very near future, the singer dished. She told Galaxy radio that she can’t wait to reform with her No Doubt bandmates, and hopes to have an album out by summer 2008.
Life Style Extra is also reporting that Gwen wants to help troubled Britney Spears, as does seemingly everyone at this point. Stefani is worried for the pop star following her recent erratic behavior and “would love to whisk her away from all her woes”.
She said: “I used to live in the same area as Britney for a while. I just want to scoop her up and give her a kiss.”
Gwen, who has a nine-month-old son, Kingston, is also concerned that Britney, who has two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, is missing out on the joys of motherhood.
She added: “I hope she’s all right. She’s just had a new baby and stuff. I hope she can just enjoy it because it’s an incredible thing.”
Stefani ended the interview with an attempt to raise Britney’s self-esteem by saying “She looks good with her hair shaved off.” |

| Anna tried to 'reach out to Spears' |
Anna Nicole Smith reached out to troubled pop princess Britney Spears in a video message asking if the two could be friends, an American magazine claims. The tragic former Playboy model, who died mysteriously in Florida two weeks ago, recorded the tape in September when she and the now bald singer were both eight months pregnant, according to US Weekly.
In her message to the young mother Smith reportedly said: "If you see this for some oddball reason... and you want to be friends, I would love so much to hang out with you."
She added: "I think you're totally cool, and I think we're about to have babies around the same time... I would just love to meet you." She then apparently told Spears to call her lawyer and companion Howard Stern, before concluding: "Take cares, and I hope that you do great on your second pregnancy.
"I'm sure you won't even see this, but if you do, I'd really love to talk to you. Bye."
But a source told the magazine the pair never met.
Their babies, Dannielynn and Jayden James, were born five days apart in September. Three days after giving birth to Dannielynn, Smith was hit by tragedy when her 20-year-old son Daniel died as he visited her in hospital.
In November, mother-of-two Spears filed for divorce from wannabe rapper Kevin Federline, and embarked on a partying spree that attracted concern and criticism. |

| Marcia Cross Welcomes Twin Girls |
How's this for a double feature? Marcia Cross became a mom on Tuesday, welcoming fraternal twin daughters, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
The girls, Eden and Savannah, who were born at a Los Angeles hospital, are the first children for the Desperate Housewives actress, 44, and her stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney, 49, who married in June 2006.
"Mother and babies are all doing well," says Cross's rep, Heidi Slan.
Cross had been on bed rest since January, but producers of her ABC hit brought production to her home for some scenes.
Set designers painted Cross's bedroom the same color as her character Bree Van De Kamp's boudoir, and moved in furniture from the set. At the time, show creator Marc Cherry told PEOPLE that Cross was "bored out of her mind (in bed), so she said, 'Bring the camera here – I want to act.' "
Her rep told the Associated Press that the bed rest was merely a "precautionary measure," and Cross herself said in December that she'd been having a problem-free pregnancy.
"I am absolutely, 100 percent fine," she told TV's Extra, though she admitted: "It's hard to carry around all that weight. I wake up feeling like me and then I step on the ground and I'm like, whose body is that walking to the bathroom?"
Still, she told PEOPLE in December that having babies later in life is "like a miracle ... I didn't think it would happen." |

| Rock band The Darkness to reform |
Rock group The Darkness are reforming - but without lead singer Justin Hawkins.
The three remaining members of the rock act, from Lowestoft, Suffolk, have announced that they have begun work recording a new album.
The new material will be released by the band under a different name. Hawkins quit the band after reportedly revealing a £150,000 cocaine addiction. He checked into celebrity rehab clinic The Priory. The band's bassist, Richie Edwards, will take over as singer.
Brit Awards. Confirming the news on his MySpace web page, Edwards told fans: "It's finally happened, the big red record button has been pressed and we've officially started our album."
The Darkness rose to fame in 2003 when they released debut album Permission to Land, achieving chart success with hits I Believe In a Thing Called Love and Growing On Me. They went on to win three Brit Awards in 2004 and looked set to cement their place as one of the biggest bands in the world.
But fame took its toll and original bass player Frankie Poullain left the band in May 2005, blaming increased tensions with Justin Hawkins on his departure. Hawkins was admitted to The Priory last August and two months later announced he had quit the band. |

| Britney Spears Leaves Rehab… Again! |
Britney Spears can’t seem to last a full day in rehab.
Less than 24 hours after checking into the Promises treatment center in Malibu, California, the troubled starlet has now reportedly checked out.
E! News and TMZ reported the departure, which occurred Wednesday morning and happens to be Spears’ second short-lived rehab attempt in just days. As reported last week by The Gossip Girls, the troubled pop star briefly entered Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Center in Antigua, but checked out a day later.
On Tuesday, Britney’s manager, Rudolph, noted: “We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”
The manager’s plea apparently fell on deaf ears, as paparazzi photos of a bald-headed Spears smoking a cigarette within the confines of the treatment center surfaced on the Internet.
A source told E! that “Spears was furious about the photographs, which directly contributed to her decision to leave Promises.”

| Carmen Electra & Dave Navarro: Officially Divorced |
Actress Carmen Electra and rock star Dave Navarro have officially divorced. The legally recognized divorce comes seven months after the two separated because of “irreconcilable differences”.
According to E!, Electra filed for divorce on August 10, 2006, citing the always ambiguous ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the breakup. The filing came a little less than a month after the two announced that they had “amicably separated,” and just a day after it was reported that her rocker husband was dating porn star Jenna Jameson
The couple chronicled their November 2003 marriage on MTV reality show ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.
Former Baywatch star Electra, 34, and the 39-year-old ex-Jane’s Addiction guitarist will now split their assets according to a premarital agreement. According to E! News, the star couple’s divorce went off relatively smoothly. They had no children and agreed that there was no community property to split up, and neither petitioned the other for spousal support.
Electra, whose real name is Tara Patrick, was also briefly married to basketball star Dennis Rodman in 1998.
As for Carmen and Dave’s future… according to Us Weekly, Electra has signed up to costar in a Las Vegas magic/variety show with Dutch magician Hans Klok, which will play out at the future site of the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
The sometime Pussycat Doll will get to apply her song-and-dance skills onstage, allowing her to do “what she loves most to do,” a source told Us. Electra will do five shows a week for 13 weeks, starting May 12.
Navarro, meanwhile, teamed up last year with former Jane’s Addiction mates Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney to form a new band, The Panic Channel, which is fronted by singer Steve Isaacs. The band released their debut album in August and have been touring since December. |

| Michael Jackson Sued As Cause Of Woman’s Death |
Michael Jackson just can’t seem to find his way out of the court room. After being found ‘not guilty’ of child molestation charges, The King of Pop now finds himself being sued by the family of an elderly woman who was moved from her hospital bed to accommodate the star.
The civil complaint was filed Thursday, on the two-year anniversary of the death of 73-year-old Manuela Gomez Ruiz.
According to TeenHollywood, the eight children of Ruiz filed the suit, alleging Jackson and celebrity-obsessed hospital staff moved their mother out of her death bed and tormented her family.
The lawsuit claims she was “treated like cargo” and roughly moved from her emergency room bed when Jackson arrived at the hospital complaining of abdominal pains during his child molestation trial.
The Thriller singer demanded two beds after going to the Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, California on February 15, 2005.
Gomez died later that night, just after being moved. Her family is accusing Jackson and the hospital of inflicting emotional distress and of negligence, elder abuse, false imprisonment and conspiracy.
The hospital’s response: “The most recent complaint appears to be another frivolous claim to generate publicity. Patient care and safety is always our first priority at Marian. As such, we are confident the care provided to Mrs. Ruiz was exceptional.”
Michael Jackson’s lawyers and reps have yet to comment on the most recent allegations. |

| Victoria Beckham Lands TomKat Designer Deal |
While David Beckham has been struggling to find a spot to call home, his wife, Victoria, has been weaseling her way into being named fashion designer for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ Oscar ensembles.
A newbie to the fashion design business, but well-connected, Victoria Beckham convinced the couple that she was the perfect person to pick their outfits for the prestigious awards ceremony set to take place on Sunday February 25th.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Victoria has the most amazing idea of what will look good on both Tom and Katie and has already discussed various fabrics and designs with them.
"They were originally planning to wear their favourite designer Armani’s clothes. But Victoria has convinced them to go with her ideas instead.” According to Daily Star sources, Victoria is planning to dress Tom and Katie in matching black outfits, with his and hers red trim around them.
The former Spice Girl recently styled Katie, 28, for a photo shoot in Harper ‘s Bazaar magazine. The friends also attended catwalk shows together in Paris earlier this month wearing co-ordinated outfits.
Victoria, 32, will also be in attendance at the Oscars and a range of designers are desperate for her to be seen in their creations. But it seems to only make sense that she would wear one of her own creations, doesn’t it?
While all of this has been taking place, soccer megastar David Beckham has been searching for a pad in LA. According to the NY Times, he reportedly checked out 20 or so mansions carrying price tags between $18 and $30 million, but has not yet found a winner. Part of the problem, real estate agents told the paper, was that the newly signed Los Angeles Galaxy star did not want to have to do any remodeling to suit his preferences. |

| Rosie O’Donnell & Donald Trump Keep Insults Flying |
Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell just can’t seem to get enough of one another. The two have been publicly belittling each other for months now, and have seemed to drag Barbara Walters and Vince McMahon into the affair.
E! Online reported on the latest insult-swapping episode. “On the opening night of her R Family vacations cruise to the Caribbean, O’Donnell made the obligatory “You’re fired” joke during a musical number featuring a headshot of Trump,” reported Marc Malkin.
Rosie continued by sarcastically firing back at Trump’s assertion on Larry King’s show that he didn’t find her sexually alluring. Rosie joked, “It was always my dream to give a balding billionaire a boner.” The fact that she was entertaining on a family cruise makes this even more inappropriate. Finishing off, O’Donnell promised even more Trump-bashing on her next HBO special—at least “25 minutes on Donald ... I do like my start about a balding-billionaire boner.”
E! Online also noted that Rosie also took a cheapshot at her boss, Barbara Walters. This comes as a surprise, seeing that Barbara joined forces with Rosie during an episode of ‘The View’, calling Trump “a poor, pathetic man”. Rosie made fun of Walters for asking Eva Longoria about skinning cats when Eva had earlier talked about skinning a deer. Rosie’s jab… “Working with Barbara is like working with your nana.”
Meanwhile, Donald did not idly sit and take the recent badmouthing by Rosie. Trump has been using World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to continue the feud.
After Trump’s trash talking about Rosie O’Donnell, McMahon put two wrestlers, dressed to look like the Donald and O’Donnell, into the ring. Trump actually won, by administering a severe head butt.
Now, Donald is set to face flamboyant WWE chairman, Vince McMahon, in a “hair match” for Wrestlemania 23, the pay-per-view event occurring April 1st in Detroit. Insults will surely be flying during the broadcast.
A past Gossip Girls article is worth revisiting here. “The absurdity of this situation knows no boundaries. Rosie just might possibly be one of the most annoying people of all time, Barbara Walters couldn’t possibly be any more full of herself, and Donald Trump thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. So, what happens when you put three losers in a pot and stir it up? You get an obnoxious news story that no one really cares about.”
Adding Vince McMahon to the mix does not change a thing… it only makes the whole situation even more pathetic. |

| George Clooney Takes Out Reese Witherspoon |
George Clooney has been linked to numerous women throughout the years, with the most recent being Pamela Anderson. Clooney simply laughed at these rumors and laid them to rest after being spotted out and about with another famous blonde.
This time, the potential object of his attentions is newly single Reese Witherspoon, who recently divorced actor Ryan Phillipe. And, yes… there is an age difference of about 20 years that surely will be the focal point of the media if things materialize.
The two were spotted dining at Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, California, where, according to reports, they discussed a film project.
According to Metro, however, the two Oscar winners were said to look extremely comfortable with one another by the time pudding came.
Not a bad achievement for George, who claimed in Reveal magazine to be getting more laid back as he gets older.
‘I’m grey, I’m approaching 50, but I’m really happy about it. I’m really pleased that I no longer have to think about someone else’s opinion about how I should look.’

Desperate Housewife, Marcia Cross, has given birth to twin daughters, reports her publicist.
Access Hollywood has reported that the fraternal twins, Eden and Savannah, are the first children for the actress and her husband, stockbroker Tom Mahoney. The couple has been married since June of 2006 and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of these babies. Marcia actually was considering adoption not too long ago.
Cross was put on bed rest several weeks ago as a precautionary measure, her publicist previously told Access Hollywood.
“For two days, Cross’ own home was transformed to match Bree’s own lodgings for scenes which were screened on the show in recent weeks,” note show insiders.
The reason… producers of the popular show ‘Desperate Housewives,’ filmed a handful of scenes from Marcia and Tom’s home, wrapping up her character’s storyline. Marcia plays the ‘picture perfect’ Bree Van De Kamp on the hit show. |

| Tara Reid: In Shape & Loving Life |
There may be hope for Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears after all. Tara Reid, who was at one point following the exact same path as the two starlets are now, seems to be back and better than ever.
Tara recently sat down with OK! Magazine and spoke candidly about her changed ways. After ditching the Hollywood scene and friends for a healthier lifestyle, she explained: “I was on Hollywood near all the clubs but it was too much and wore me down. I’d had enough of that in my life - I’ve been there and done that and it was no good for me.” The ‘American Pie’ actress now resides in a peaceful beach house close to her family.
"My lifestyle has improved which has changed everything. I’ve bought a beach house right on the ocean so every morning I ride my bike and go jogging. My parents live two houses down from me and my brother lives two miles away so I eat dinner with them - I love it.”
This new lifestyle definitely has gotten Reid back into the shape that made her famous.
Tara was spotted at the exclusive Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara this past weekend, strutting her stuff in a revealing red bikini. Reid, who revealed late last year that she had corrective surgery to repair a “botched” boob job and liposuction initially performed a couple of years ago, looks as good as new… if not better than ever. This just goes to show what some good judgment and a little hard work can do.
With this in mind, many are wondering whether it is time for Reid to become a role model for other young Hollywood celebrities, including Lohan and Spears? In our opinion… you can’t argue with these results, but lets just make sure that all of this attention doesn’t sweep her right back into the troubles of her past. |

| Scarlett Johansson Named Playboy’s Sexiest Celeb |
Scarlett Johansson has beaten out a list of deserving beauties to top Playboy’s annual 25 Sexiest Celebrities list. The 22-year-old actress’ “sensuality” and “beauty” saw off stiff competition from Angelina Jolie, Beyonce Knowles and Jessica Alba.
The adult magazine writes: “Scarlett Johansson is the apex of beauty and sensuality - from her porcelain skin to her fully feminine figure to her mysterious charisma, which is at once palpable and indefinable.”
While the magazine makes it clear that Scarlett is their sexiest woman, the magazine did not assign rankings to the 24 other starlets who made up the list. This surely helps the magazine to reduce the chance of bitterness or conflict among the women over rankings.
Other names to make it onto the sexy list include Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson.
Meanwhile, Scarlett is rumored to be the front-runner to play adult movie superstar Jenna Jameson in a movie adaptation of her autobiography, ‘How To Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale.’
Jenna, 32, was heard showing her admiration for The Prestige actress last month.
The adult film star said: “We’re looking at Scarlett Johansson. She’s my choice. I think she’s beautiful.”

Selma Blair has a new guy in her life: Matthew Felker, the model-actor who kisses Britney Spears in her "Toxic" video, the actress tells PEOPLE.
Blair, who went solo at the Marc Jacobs fashion show in London on Friday, said at the event that she left her boyfriend in good hands.
"He's at home watching my dog," Blair said with a laugh. "I'm just here for the show. I just got here and I'm going home tomorrow. I'll see him then."
Blair, 34, says she met the 27-year-old Felker, whom the actress decribes as a writer, "through friends," though she's "not really sure" of the time frame.
One thing is for sure: Blair won't be debuting her romance with Felker at Sunday's Oscars parties. "I'll be sitting at home with my boyfriend watching it," Blair said. "I've gone every year to the Vanity Fair party but I've taken some time off acting, so I think it's time to take time off from showing up at acting events."

| Kate & Owen Reunite Down Under |
It's a long way to go for a movie date. But Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson made a rare public appearance Down Under Sunday to attend a private screening of Matthew McConaughey's We Are Marshall in Broadbeach on Australia's Gold Coast.
Wilson and Hudson made a low-key entrance to the Pacific Fair cinema, passed by the complimentary candy bar (courtesy of McConaughey) and settled into their seats, an eyewitness tells PEOPLE.
The observer says Wilson, who's friends with McConaughey, was a surprise guest at the screening for the thirty cast and crew members of Fool's Gold, which McConaughey and Hudson have been filming on location since November.
"They were cozy – they chose seats together – and seemed relaxed although slightly nervous, probably because they were in public together," the onlooker says. "Once the lights dimmed, they chilled out a bit more."
According to local newspapers, Wilson jetted Down Under and has been spotted about town over the past weekend.
Hudson, 27, and husband, rocker Chris Robinson, 40, split last August amid rumors that the actress was romantically involved with her You, Me and Dupree costar Wilson, 38. The pair have since been spotted quietly spending time together in California and Hawaii. |

| Britney Spears’ Hair Pulled From E-Bay |
The tale of Britney Spears’ head-shaving incidence keeps adding new twists and turns.
The owners of Esther’s Hair Cutting Studio, where Britney shaved her head Friday told E! News that the pop star’s locks were saved and would be sold for a good cause.
“She didn’t want her hair. We have it here at the salon and we will probably auction it off for charity,” said J.T. Tognozzi, who co-owns th Tarzana, California, salon with his wife, Esther. He told E! that Britney “was accompanied by two bodyguards and knocked on the door around 7 p.m. Friday. Spears had never been to the salon before, and the shop was closed for the night, but Esther Tognozzi says that she immediately recognized the singer and let her in.”
When Britney entered and asked for the buzz cut, Esther “sat her down, looked her over and then suggested less drastic alternatives.” But, according to Esther, “She was on a mission. She had made up her mind that she was shaving her head before she came in.”
According to E! interviews with Tognozzi, “Spears said she was tired of her hair extensions and wanted to make like Sinead O’Connor. When Tognozzi said she didn’t want to be responsible for shaving Spears’ hair, the singer then asked if she could do the deed herself.”
“She grabbed the shears and just started shaving her head,” J.T. Tognozzi said.
“She wasn’t very talkative, in fact, I kept talking to her about the kids, and I asked about her baby, hoping that I could convince her and talk her out of continuing,” added Esther Tognozzi.
She said that Spears didn’t appear to be under the influence of anything and remained “emotionless” for the most part, “except for when she said, ‘Oh my god, my mom’s going to be so upset,’ and she had tears in her eyes.”
Meanwhile, E! Online reported that Spears spent Saturday afternoon poolside at the Mondrian hotel, wearing a short blonde wig. Even more recently, Britney’s shaven hair was put up on E-Bay, with an initial bid price of $1 million. Since that time, the AP has reported “various sellers on the online auction site offered not only hair, but clippers that they claimed did the job.”
“One seller claimed to have collected hair with the salon owner, and offered it for sale along with a can energy drink supposedly sipped by the singer.”
The main auction was set to end Tuesday at 5:30 pm, with speculators estimating a final price of up to $100 million! Since that time, the auctions have been pulled for authenticity reasons. Another avenue for pawning off the locks will surely be sought |

| Eminem Responds To Kim’s Attacks |
Eminem and ex-Kim Mathers are not unfamiliar with public spats. Until recently, it seemed as if the two had decided to keep their matters private. That has all changed ever since Akon falsely announced that the two were engaged… for a third time.
As reported earlier by The Gossip Girls, Eminem’s ex-wife reopened the war of words between the two this past Friday, when she described Em as unfaithful, uncaring, and to blame for her suicide attempts. While speaking to Detroit’s Channel 955, Kim Mathers said she was “100% sure” she would never get back with the hip-hop icon, whom she re-married in January and re-divorced in December 2006.
“I can’t stand him. He’s an absolute horrible person,” said Kim. She even went as far as making some belittling comments about his sexual prowess, saying that “he’s not well-endowed.”
It took a couple of days, but Eminem finally has responded. He has done so by releasing a statement through his rep Dennis Dennehy to address the issue. “It’s a shame that I’ve moved on and Kim hasn’t,” said Eminem. “Her ongoing press campaign is doing nothing but harm to the children, and for that I feel truly sorry. For their sake, I wish she would stop.”
It seems as if one of the two have grown up and moved on.

| Bridget Moynahan Pregnant With Ex-Tom Brady’s Child |
Actress Bridget Moynahan is expecting a baby. Unfortunately, the timing is a bit amiss. It seems as if New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady is the father, even though the two have separated and are no longer a couple.
Moynahan, 36, dated the Brady, 29, for two years before ending the relationship in December. Now, the NY Post reports that the actress is more than three months into the pregnancy. This will be the first child for Moynahan and Brad
Since the two parted ways, Brady has been romantically linked to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Gisele has long been in an on-and-off relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio. According to the Post, “Brady has been seen coming and going from the 26-year-old Bundchen’s apartment building in the SoHo area of New York City. Bundchen was also seen in the Patriots’ locker room after New England’s divisional playoff win over the Chargers.”

| Ray Liotta’s No ‘Goodfella’, Arrested For DUI |
Famous for his roles in mob movies such as ‘Goodfellas,’ actor Ray Liotta has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his car into two parked vehicles in Los Angeles. Yes… he hit parked cars!
The AP reported that Liotta, 52, was arrested at around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday February 17th. The actor was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge, said Los Angeles Police spokesman Mike Lopez
No one was injured in the collision in Pacific Palisades. Liotta was alone in his car, Lopez said.
Lopez also stated that an initial hearing has been scheduled for March 19th. This date comes just two weeks after the March 5th premiere of Liotta’s new film, ‘Wild Hogs’. Liotta co-stars with Tim Allen and John Travolta in the road-trip comedy.
Liotta’s publicist, Matt Labov, has yet to comment on the actor’s arrest. |

| Paris Hilton Peddling Website Shutdown By Judge |
If you didn’t make it to Parisexposed.com yet, it may be too late. Paris Hilton’s sex tapes, x-rated photos, diary entries and other personal items were barred from being shown by the Website by a Los Angeles federal judge on Friday.
The AP reports that Judge George King issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting ParisExposed.com from displaying any of the items until a lawsuit Hilton brought against the site is resolved. ParisExposed.com’s creator is named as Bardia Persa.
The site provided paying visitors (about $40) access to Hilton’s personal records, along with video footage of Paris in half-nude in the bathtub and shots of the 25-year-old in “racy situations.”
The AP noted that, earlier this month, the same judge issued a temporary order barring the site from showing items such as Hilton’s medical records, SSN, phone number and other personal information. Now, Paris has gotten what she was looking for… a complete shutdown of the site. |

| Eva Mendes, co-star of 'Ghost Rider,' gets pulses racing |
The curvaceous Cuban-American actress has shown her flair for comedy in such lighthearted fare as "Hitch," with Will Smith, and the Farrelly brothers' "Stuck on You."
But Mendes' role in "Ghost Rider," which opened Friday and stars Nicolas Cage as a motorcycling anti-hero who sells his soul to Satan, is the first of several films in which she gets to show a more serious side (even if it's in a comic-book world). Mendes recently wrapped a gritty cop drama, "We Own the Night," in which she co-stars with Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg and Robert Duvall, and just last week she began shooting a crime thriller, "Cleaner," in Berlin with Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris.
"We Own the Night," about a New York nightclub owner in the 1980s torn between loyalty to his police family and ruthless Russian mobsters, "was my first real dramatic role - and now I'm kind of hooked," says Mendes, who plays Phoenix's girlfriend. The film is due out this year.
"And now 'Cleaner' is a very dark film, too," she adds. "It was so much fun for me to go to a darker place as an actress," says Mendes, whose character in the film is a widow searching for answers to her husband's death. "That's the beauty of being an actress - it's such a perfect career for me because I'm such a moody person. I go through these emotions, and there are certain times in my life when I want to express myself comedically and there are times when I want to explore my darker side.
"Doing 'We Own the Night' opened up that darker side. It was like, 'Oh, wow - I have that in me, too, and now I'd like to get it out."
"Ghost Rider," based on the 1970s Marvel Comics character with a flaming skull and smokin' wheels, isn't exactly the kind of highbrow film that allows Mendes to flex her new dramatic muscles. She plays Roxanne (Roxie) Simpson, a reporter who was the title character's childhood love, and who now finds herself caught in the middle of a battle between Ghost Rider and the Devil's son (Wes Bentley).
"I don't really have that much 'action' stuff," says Mendes. "I'm 'the girl' in the movie, but without being an accessory. I'm [Cage's] love interest, yet there is nothing about me that is a victim." |

| Nicole Richie faces drink-driving charge |
Nicole Richie, who starred in reality show The Simple Life, has been charged with drink-driving in California.
She is said to have been under the influence of alcohol and an unspecified drug in Burbank in December.
Police allegedly found her car parked on a motorway after being told that a vehicle was being driven the wrong way.
Her file also claims she was convicted of drink-driving in 2003, the district attorney's office said. A second conviction could lead to a jail term.
This is because Californian law states that anyone committing two such offences within 10 years can be sentenced to between three months and a year in jail.
They can also be fined and lose their driving licence.
A hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday in Glendale Superior Court.
However, Richie - the daughter of soul singer Lionel - does not have to appear in person.
Her lawyer, Howard L Weitzman, said he had not yet looked at the legal complaint.
He added in a statement that the star would "deal with these charges in the appropriate forum". |

Lindsay Lohan has apparently cleaned up her act, as she was spotted leaving the Wonderland facility on Tuesday night. The actress has already started filming scenes for her movie, “I Know Who Killed Me.”
A “radiantly healthy-looking Lindsay” is playing a woman who develops a dual personality after enduring a brutal kidnapping.
On an even brighter note, Lindsay reportedly is rebuilding her relationship with her father, says Life & Style Weekly.
Supposedly, Lindsay has not communicated with her father, Michael Lohan, for a number of years… until she received a letter from him upon entering rehab.
In case you were not aware, her father is serving time in a New York prison for assault.
Getting back to the subject, the letter which he wrote to his daughter read: “I am so proud of you in that you are taking back control of your life and putting it back on track like God wants. Now it is time to ‘clean house’ in every sense of the word, and start anew. My undying love, daddy.”
A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “It was such a welcome surprise.”
“Lindsay was certainly touched and a little choked up.”

| Scarlett Johansson Braves Cold For Pudding Award |
While it’s not quite an Oscar, Scarlett Johansson was nevertheless appreciative of receiving Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals 2007 woman of the year award on February 15th.
The 22-year-old actress defied cold weather to lead a parade of students yesterday during the tradition-rich acceptance ceremony.
According to the Boston Globe, “Johansson wore no gloves as she rode in the freezing temps in a donated silver Bentley convertible that was trailed by another of the sleek cars holding Miss Massachusetts Michaela Gagne. Johansson may not have worn gloves, but she was wearing a $125,000 tiara made by Suzy Fabrikant for Alpha Omega Jewelers. (The 13.1-carat diamond on a white gold piece will be on display in the Harvard Square store.) The actress was thrown a stuff toy pig from someone in the crowd, which she seemed to hug for warmth, and was bombarded with proposals, prompting Johansson to lean into senior Justin Rodriguez to say, “We’re moving so slowly I could take numbers.”
"Everything I ever dreamed of when I was a little girl is happening to me right now,” Johansson joked while surrounded by the group’s president, Joshua Brener, and vice president, Justin Rodriguez on the back seat of a silver Bentley during the parade.
During the event, the star told reporters that she admired the theatrical troupe for going on with the show.
“I wouldn’t be caught dead in a bra and panties on a day like this,” she said. “They were really suffering for their craft.”
Johansson, who also participated in a mock SAT exam, seemed cheerful and delighted when accepting the award.
“Thank you so much for this fabulous golden pot. It’s been such a wonderful day. This is the closest I’ll ever get to a Harvard degree for sure,’’ Johansson said. “It’s a real honor and I can’t wait til later tonight when we party.’’
As the male equivalent for the award, the troupe picked Ben Stiller. The actor is set to be honored next week.

Pop star turned professional party girl Britney Spears has been snubbed by fashion designer and model Lydia Hearst at the New York Fashion Week.
Britney had requested a limited edition Heatherette clutch bag designed by Hearst, but her request was turned down as the designer-model didn’t think that she was a good role model.
A source told the New York Daily News: “Britney wanted to go backstage at the Heatherette fashion show during New York Fashion Week to collect a bag and promised to carry it to her front-row seat at where she would be photographed with it. But there were only 100 bags and her offer was politely declined.”
Hearst said: “I’m only giving the bag to accomplished young women who are doing something positive to affect the world around them. They are women I look up to and respect, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway. They share the same high standards, and give back to the communities in which they live.”
After her request was turned down, Britney did not make an appearance at the Heatherette fashion show at all.

It seems as if Teri Hatcher is hanging out with a different kind of A-lister than we’re used to from a Hollywood starlet.
According to an All Headline News release, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress has been spotted out and about with “none other than the former President of the United States, George Bush Sr.”
Teri, who has a daughter named Emerson, was seen out enjoying a lunch date with the elder Bush this past week.
"After the meal, Bush, 82, gave the Golden Globe winner a kiss on the cheek and a pat on her bottom,” according to the report.
After the spotting, Hatcher has revealed that the pair have been friends for years. The two are so close, in fact, that she and her daughter have spent time up at the Bush family residence in Maine.
The television star has spoken out about the friendship, saying she would like to be involved in charities with her friend. Hatcher simply said, “I hope to be involved in many of his charities.”

Paris Hilton is preparing another extravagant celebration for her birthday to be held on Saturday February 17th. In store is a lavish celebrity attended gala at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino during NBA All Star Weekend in Las Vegas.
Paris will be kicking it off with an exclusive party at Body English, the Hard Rock’s 20 Million dollar Nightclub. And Paris’ parties always include impressive guest lists, with this year being no different.
Some of the guest names that have surfaced include her sister Nicky Hilton, Fergie, Jenna Jameson, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Elisha Cuthbert, Scott Storch, Fat Joe and Snoop Dog, just to name a few. The entourage of stars will be making their way Saturday Night to Body English Nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to blow out her candles and enjoy a special surprise musical performance by one of her friends who will be in attendance.
After Body English, Paris will be taken upstairs to the Fabulous Penthouse Suite at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino that comes equipped with a bowling lane, for an ultra exclusive VIP party hosted by her good friend Jeff Beacher, who is expected to present a special Mini Beacher’s Madhouse. Beacher’s act includes the Obese Go Go Girl troupe, dozens of little people, live monkeys and a goat, which will all be a part of the mayhem.

| Mariah Carey Flies Economy On Her Own Terms |
Talk about not being willing to cut back. Singer Mariah Carey was asked to travel by economy class to cut costs on her latest flick ‘Tennessee’ and the singer did just that, but in a fashion that could only be expected out of a diva such as herself.
Apparently, the movie is being made “on a shoestring budget,” so Mariah was asked to fly down to the filming location with the rest of the commoners in the economy cabin. According to the Baltimore Sun, those who knew her just about fainted, saying, “She’ll never do that!”
She sure proved those people wrong. In an act that only Mariah would go through with, the singer bought every single seat and flew alone in the economy cabin. Talk about showing the movie producers who makes the rules! We can only assume that Mariah ended up footing the bill, but it surely must have felt like money well spent to the star.

| Shakira Designs Charity Hard Rock T-Shirt |
Always working for charity in one way or another, singer Shakira has unveiled the latest , featuring an image which she designed. The unveiling took place at the Hard Rock in Paris, France.
Proceeds from the sale of the new T-shirt benefit Shakira’s Fundacion Pies Descalzos, which is devoted to finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of the violence in Colombia. The foundation also aims to build new schools and/or improve the infrastructure of existing schools, according the charity’s website.
Shakira becomes just the 23rd rocker and more impressively, the second female artist to become part of Hard Rock’s T-shirt program. The hip-shaking songstress joins musicians such as Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks and Ozzy Osbourne, helping to raise millions of dollars for a number of charitable causes worldwide.
As seen in the picture above, the shirt features a vivid pink guitar, bearing a set of angel wings on the base that form into a glowing pink heart, with the neck of the guitar wrapped in flowers. The design, created by Shakira, is set on a black T-shirt.

| Paris Hilton Vienna Opera Ball Yawner |
Hopefully the birthday party tonight will be a little more exciting for Paris Hilton. She simply stifled yawns all night at the Vienna Opera Ball.
The hotel heiress certainly didn’t look like she was ‘having a ball’ at Austria’s society event of the year on Thursday night.
It was readily apparent during the live television coverage of the Ball, which repeatedly showed her looking rather bored in her luxury box at the State Opera House.
According to AP reports, “as debutantes in white dresses and their escorts in black tuxedos and tails marched into the ornate ballroom, Hilton was seen resting her head in her hands, absentmindedly flipping through the program and fiddling with her mobile phone.”
“Look how excited she is,” deadpanned a commentator for public television station ORF, which broadcast the ball live.
Hilton was the guest of Richard Lugner, a 74-year-old married construction magnate who invites a celebrity each year. According to AP news, Lunger’s previous guests have included Geri Halliwell, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra. This year, there was a big debacle as Britney Spears was disinvited after her friendship with Paris came to a screeching halt.

| Foxy Brown Goes Ballistic, Arrested in Florida |
Rapper Foxy Brown was arrested in a Florida beauty supplies shop for causing an alleged disturbance, police said. Foxy supposedly had a little tantrum - “in which she allegedly spit, swore and sprayed glue at a South Florida shopkeeper,” according to the NY Daily News.
She was charged with battery and obstruction of justice in the alleged altercation, the Miami Herald said in a February 16th statement.
Brown, 28, was on probation at the time of the incident for an occurrence all too similar. She was found guilty of clubbing two Manhattan nail salon workers with her phone over a $20 pedicure in 2004
The latest rampage took place at the Queen Beauty Supply shop in Pembroke Pines, Fla., where she and a friend allegedly got into it with store owner, Hayssam Ghoneim, because Brown was taking too much time in the ladies’ room fixing her hair-- as the store was supposed to be closing.
“She was screaming, ‘I have to finish my hair,’” Ghoneim told the Miami Herald.
“This is not a beauty salon,” the owner said he told the women. “It’s a store and you have to leave.”
As a result of these comments, Ghoneim said he was “met with a spit-flying fury from the notoriously feisty Brown.”
“It was the F-word, and the M-word and the A-word,” Ghoneim said.
Brown continued by squirting Ghoneim with hair extensions glue. Order was finally restored when a Pembroke Pines police officer said he was “forced to utilize a takedown maneuver” to gain control of the rapper. Even then, Ghoneim said, Brown kept screaming.

| Cameron Diaz Wins Battle With National Enquirer |
The National Enquirer and actress Cameron Diaz have come to an agreement, as she has accepted “substantial” libel damages from the US tabloid over a false claim that she was having an affair with a married man.
Ms Diaz, 34, filed a lawsuit against publishers American Media Incorporated over pictures and a story that appeared on the National Enquirer website in May of 2005.
The magazine claimed that the photos showed Ms Diaz cheating on her then boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, with a TV producer. The story and pictures appeared on the website along with the headline Cameron Caught Cheating!
According to a BBC news report, her lawyer Simon Smith told Mr. Justice Eady, at London’s High Court, that the article reported that she had a “smooching session” with married MTV producer Shane Nickerson.
The lawsuit was settled out of court, Smith said, and the terms of the agreement were confidential. In court, he said the damages paid were “substantial,” says Forbes.
In a statement read to the high court Friday, the magazine “apologized unreservedly” for any distress caused to the 34-year-old Diaz, her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake, as well as the producer and his wife.
Sam Howard, the Enquirer’s lawyer, said the magazine “entirely accepts that the allegations were without foundation and ought never to have been published.” |

| Hugh Grant Breaks Up; Elizabeth Hurley Plans To Wed |
Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have announced that they have decided to break off their three year relationship.
The split is said to have been a mutual agreement, with the British actor’s agent Robert Garlock saying: “Hugh and Jemima have decided to split amicably.”
The rep continued to say for the couple: “It is an entirely amicable split, but both regard it as a private matter and will not be making any further statements.”
According to InTheNews, Khan is a mother-of-two, and the daughter of late billionaire Sir James Goldsmith. She started her relationship with Grant just after her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan in 2004.
Hugh Grant, meanwhile, previously dated actress Elizabeth Hurley for nearly 14 years, but the long-term relationship ended after Hugh was caught cheating.
An odd time for it to occur, Hurley released her notice of marriage to Indian textile heir Arun Nayar. This came on the same day as the breakup of her ex was announced, February 16th.
Grant’s split occurs while pressing his current film, Music and Lyrics, in which he stars alongside Drew Barrymore.
Khan accompanied Grant to the London and LA premieres, at which there were suggestions that the relationship between the two was in trouble.
Speaking at the premiere, Grant hinted: “I’m not a very romantic man and I’m not a very musical man. What am I doing in this film? I don’t know.” |

| Charlie Sheen, Denise Richards Valentine’s Get Together |
Putting the bitterness of the divorce aside, actor Charlie Sheen spent Valentines Day with his ex-wife, Denise Richards, and their two daughters.
Following the official termination of their marriage on November 17, the two appear to have put much of the allegations and threats that surfaced during their struggle of a divorce behind them. The two had a seemingly enjoyable Wednesday afternoon, reuniting for a family day out with their children.
Sheen and Richards wed in June of 2002. Richards, 36, originally filed for divorce from Sheen, 41, in March 2005. At that time, she was six months pregnant with their second child.
Getting back on track… while Charlie and Denise happily reunited on the typically romantic holiday, it was strictly platonic, and they are not back together.
Once the evening rolled around, it was time for Charlie to step out with his new lady love, girlfriend Brooke Mueller. According to Extra, Charlie and Brooke “spent a romantic Valentine’s date at Wolfgang Puck’s hot new Beverly Hills restaurant, Cut.”
As they shined in the L.A. night, “Extra” also spotted a heart shaped diamong ring on Brooke’s hand. But wedding bells aren’t ringing just yet. On Thursday, Charlie’s rep announced that it is not an engagement ring. |

| Britney Spears Enters Rehab; Leaves Within 24 Hours |
Britney Spears apparently took the advice of family and friends and went to rehab, but within 24 hours, she changed her mind and flew the coop.
Extra reported that Spears was last seen leaving New York City four nights ago on a private jet with her two young sons, expectedly heading to Miami.
Not soon after, she disappeared, leaving a trail of paparazzi wondering how the star lost them. The answer… Britney purposely rid them and entered a rehab facility two days ago.
TMZ was informed that Britney checked in at the urging of friends and family, after being seen intoxicated in public places and was so “exhausted” on New Year’s Eve she collapsed.
Also, it has been said that the center was located outside of the country, and for some reason Britney refused to stay. The total time that she spent at the facility was less than 24 hours. At this time, a rep for Britney could not immediately be reached for comment.
Seeing that Britney is having such a tough time getting help, maybe Lindsay Lohan could give her a call with some words of encouragement! |

| Keri Russell’s Valentine’s Day Wedding |
Keri Russell, the former Felicity star, married her longtime boyfriend, Shane Deary, in an intimate Valentine’s Day ceremony, her rep has confirmed to Us Weekly Magazine. “It was amongst her close friends on a cold snowy Valentine’s night,” her rep stated. Russell and Deary, who are both 30, are expecting their first child this summer, the reports noted.
In regards to the pregnancy, Russell told People Magazine at the Sundance Film Festival, “I’m one of the lucky ones. So far it’s been nice and easy. It’s a big, life-changing experience, and we’re excited.”
A inside source told Us Weekly that Russell’s reception was held at the Harrison, a restaurant in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood. “It went beautifully,” says the source of the wedding Russell played the title role of Felicity Porter in the hit WB drama from 1998 to 2002. In her most recent work, she appeared opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3.
Meanwhile, Keri has a new movie, the indie romantic comedy Waitress, which was directed by the late Adrienne Shelly and screened at Sundance. Later this year, she is slated to star in ‘Girl in the Park’ with Kate Bosworth and ‘August Rush’ with Robin Williams.
According to Us weekly, this is the first marriage for both. Russell’s past loves include Felicity costar Scott Speedman and fellow Mouseketeer Tony Lucca, whom she dated on-and-off for eight years. |

| Chesney Talks About Gay Rumors, Divorce From Zellweger |
Ever since Kenny Chesney split from actress Renee Zellweger, rumors surrounding the separation and Kenny’s sexual orientation have been building. According to an AP release, Chesney has completed an interview set to air Sunday February 18th on 60 minutes, in an attempt to debunk the gossip.
“It’s not true. Period. Maybe I should have come out and said, `No, I’m not (gay),’ but I didn’t want to draw any more attention to it,” the country singer says. “... I didn’t have to prove to anybody that I wasn’t (gay). I didn’t feel like I really did.”
The ex-couple were married on the Caribbean island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands in May of 2005. It was the first marriage for both. Four months later, Zellweger listed “fraud” as the reason for seeking an annulment.
An annulment is a judicial declaration that a marriage never legally existed. In the state of California, an annulment may be granted when either party in the marriage is under 18, of unsound mind, bound to a previous marriage or if the consent to marry was obtained by fraud or force.
The Oscar-winning actress later issued a statement saying the term “fraud” was “simply legal language and not a reflection of Kenny’s character.”
“We thought the least harmful stated reason was fraud because it is kind of broad ... doesn’t specify,” Chesney says. “And boy ... we were wrong.”
“The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like ... that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn’t,” he says.
Chesney, who is set to go on tour this summer, told 60 Minutes that he has no regrets.
“Not at all. Not one bit,” he says. “Even though I’d sit here and say I wish we’d gotten divorced instead of all that annulment stuff, and saved me a lot of public humiliation ... I still don’t have any regrets. I loved her, you know? And it was real.” |
