Johnny Depp’s Ailing Daughter “Much Better” |
According to British news sources, Johnny Depp’s 7-year-old daughter has reportedly been receiving treatment in a British hospital.
Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper has reported that “Lily-Rose, the daughter of Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis, was admitted to a hospital nine days ago and was in a serious condition.” The location of the hospital and what exactly is wrong with Lily-Rose is said to be known by the newspaper, but is not being revealed to preserve the family’s privacy.
A hospital source told the NY Post, “"He has not asked for any special favors but just wants the best for his child, like any parent. It is such a difficult time for him but he is hanging in there for the sake of his daughter, and the whole family is just praying that she gets better. They are taking each day as it comes. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for all of them and he’s been worrying himself silly. He’s a devoted dad and is spending as much time as he can with Lily.”
With great pleasure, we would also like to report that just hours ago, things have turned brighter.
“We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better,” Depp’s publicist, Robin Baum, told reporters. “The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy” Baum continued.
Depp, 43, is in Britain to film “Sweeney Todd,” director Tim Burton’s musical about the legendary “demon barber of Fleet Street.” The film also stars Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Borat) |
