| BHPD: Garrison Drunk and Coked Up During Fatal Crash |
Lane Garrison just made the biggest mistake of his life, and there were several witnesses to record the account. TMZ spoke with many witnesses that claim they saw Lane snort lines of coke just before the fatal crash when he killed a 17-year-old boy in December, and blood tests have revealed that he was more than twice the legal limit and was under the influence of cocaine.
The Beverly Hills PD have recommended to the county prosecutor that Lane be charged with gross vehicular manslaughter. This felony charge can carry a maximum of 10 years in prison.
According to information released by BHPD, Lane’s blood level was .16 or greater (the legal limit is .08). The story only gets worse from here for Garrison.
Two of the passengers were 15-year-old girls in the car that he was driving. This fact made the police recommend that Garrison also be prosecuted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
As reported last month, Garrison meet met Vahagn Setian and two 15-year-old girls hours before the crash, and decided to go partying with them. Witnesses claimed that they saw Garrison take roughly 4-7 shots of Grey Goose Vodka in short time span. One of Hollywood’s big time lawyers, Harland Braun, will handle the defense. Braun says that his client was on the way back to his apartment when the accident happened. |
