| Katie Holmes Loved Cruise ‘At First Sight’ |
In a Harper’s Bazaar magazine interview, Katie Holmes opened up about her life, including motherhood, falling in love and her career. In a romantic statement, Holmes claims she fell in love with Tom Cruise the moment she first shook his hand. It has also been noted that Katie had a crush on the star during her teenage years.
The new mother gushed about her life with the star, saying: “I love calling him husband.” As most everyone knows, Katie gave birth to the couple’s daughter Suri last year. She seemingly is loving motherhood and told Harper’s Bazaar magazine that she definitely wanted more children.
The one thing that may be stopping her is the fact that she also wants to make more movies. Last week, The Gossip Girls reported that the 28-year-old had dropped out of the sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins and had signed on to star in Mad Money along with Queen Latifah.
“I have a whole new set of responsibilities,” Holmes said in her first major interview since marrying Cruise at a star-studded wedding in Italy in November.
“My work is very important to me.” “My family is very important to me. When I go to work, it will be the right thing, worth my time and worth my time away from my family.”
In an interesting side note, Katie was styled for the magazine’s photoshoot by new best friend Victoria Beckham. Harper’s Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey praised Beckham’s fashion sense.
“Victoria has a strong sense of style - she knew the pieces she wanted Katie to wear,” she told People.
