Kaiser Chiefs playing Glastonbury |
Chart-topping rock group Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed that they will play at the Glastonbury festival this June.
"All the rumours are flying around, and they're all true," said singer Ricky Wilson, whose band currently has the number one single, Ruby.
"I read in the NME that we're doing Glastonbury," he told BBC 6 Music. "They're right."
Music fans have until Wednesday to register for Glastonbury, which will feature Arctic Monkeys and The Who.
Only those who leave their details online can buy tickets when they go on sale on 1 April, to make it harder for touts to obtain passes.
Last Thursday, festival organiser Michael Eavis said that more than 175,000 people had already completed the process.
About 140,000 tickets will be available to the public for the festival, held between 22 and 24 June, once the allocation for staff and security teams has been taken into account. |
